Darling’s hot climate tempered by cool Atlantic Ocean breezes means the winery is able to produce a smooth pinot noir as well as heavier red blends. The Vernon Basson, is a serious Bordeaux blend that won a Gran d’Or Michelangelo Award in 2008.
