The one indulgence you would never forgo? Travelling to Greece in the European Summer to spend time on the paradisical islands where we have a family home.

The grooming staples you are never without are… I have recently been introduced to the VEET personal grroming kit and I find it’s a slick and convenient item to keep me looking as fresh and groomed as possibe.

Your all-time favourite gadget? Being in the hospitality I must say I love a lemon zester which always enhances our gorgeous cocktails and is also used for elaborate food garnishing.

The single object you would never part with? My iPhone 6- it’s my best friend and like an extended part of my body!!! Don’t judge me.

Your favourite drink? I’m definitely a French Champagne kind of girl. I love chilled Laurent Perrier, as well as Veuve Cliquot. When I’m feeling healthy, I opt for a frozen cucumber,mint and ginger granita which always energises me.

The restaurant you frequent most often? My current favourite is Marble on the Keyes Art Mile which is on the same road as our offices, as well as Big Mouth in Nelson Mandela Square for the best sushi, and the brand new Life in Cape Town at the V+A Waterfront.

Your personal style signifier? Most people recognise me by my very elaborate rings and accessories which I source on my travels all over the world. I love fashion and bags which are iconically stylish and eye-catching.

The last thing you bought and loved? We recently revamped Casa Crease – our home – and I bought new interior furniture and designer objets, as well as indulged in gorgeous Greek marble flooring for our entertainment area outside as well as fabulous billowing linen curtians – all which make me so happy.

Your favourite timepiece and why? I love the Cartier and Rolex brands as they are beautifully handcrafted and speak on luxury and quality.

An unforgettable place you’ve travelled to in the past year? I had the privilege of being invited to the front row of the Prada Women’s F/W ’16 show at Milan Fashion Week this year,and loved the urban energy of that cosmopolitan Italian city. On the other end of the spectrum, a few peaceful, beachy days I spent with my mom and little son Alexi at the iconic Oberoi resort and spa in Mauritius with its flawless guest experience ethos.

The book on your bedside table? How to be the perfect parent – something I’m still working on after three children.

The last meal that truly impressed you? A fanstastic gastronomic tasting dinner we had at The Test Kitchen in Cape Town and a langorous lunch at Babylonstoren in Franschoek. I’ve never been disappointed there.

The thing you are eyeing next? More time to travel, more time with my family and my long-suffering loyal friends, as well as the new Prada limited edition handbag. A  diamond ring from Charles Greig jewellers and fragranced candles from Apsley House.

The one thing you will always find in your fridge? Olives,champagne and meze dips for friends that casually pop past for drinks.

The best gift you’ve given recently? A white Jeep for my middle son who has waited patiently for his turn and a huge ARIA fragrance diffuser for a special client.

And the best one you’ve received? I’m so privileged to receive many beautiful gifts throughout the year from so many special people so the ones I enjoy most are experiences that money can’t buy: Like being invited to a party at a Palazzo for photographer Mario Testino with celebrities, actors and models in Milan and being spoilt with a stunning yacht trip by a friend who owns a private resort Vila do Paradiso in Mozambique.

The place that inspires you and why? Without doubt, Greece has left its mark on my reality and has informed my style in all aspects of my life including fashion, lifetsyle, architecture, food and family values. It has also taught me to enjoy every moment and live life to the full. Deep down though I am truly African and I find that there are many commonalities between the two cultures, which suit me very well.

A recent special “find or discovery”? As a foodie, I love China Town and have recently discoved CJ Market in Bruma which really blew my culinary mind with the variety of authentic Asian ingredients as well as the fresh produce which opens my culinary mind to new dimensions.

The last item you added to your wardrobe? A gorgeous couture Gavin Rajah evening gown that he designed for me for the SA Style Awards 2016. I felt like a Hollywood star!

Favourite city and why? Athens! The people, the energy, the gourmet offering, the historical sites and the scenic Mediterraean views. Definitely my happy place.
