The one indulgence I’ll never forgo is... my sleep.

The grooming staples I am never without are... La Mer hand treatment, Ruby
Woo red MAC lipstick, Chanel Hydra Beauty Nourishing Lip Balm, a small hairbrush, breath mints and facial tissues.

My all-time favourite gadget is... my Apple TV. I’m a ravenous consumer of television series.

The single object I would never part with is... my iPhone – I go nowhere without my playlist. It’s my life soundtrack.

My favourite drink is... actually water, believe it or not!

The restaurant I frequent most often is... Societi Bistro in Gardens, Cape Town. It’s my second home, like an upmarket South African Spotted Pig. I was honoured to have a dish named after me there!

My personal style signifier would be... red lips and a quirky pair of sunglasses.

The last thing I bought and loved was... my oversized Givenchy Rottweiler-print Antigona tote. This is probably the closest I’ll get to owning a dog for a while. I call him Puppy.

My favourite timepiece is... my Portuguese Chronograph. Understated elegance. It’s a classic.

An unforgettable place I travelled to in the past year was... Hong Kong. It’s encouraging to see what can be achieved over a few decades of focus and discipline.

The book on my bedside table is... Serena Williams’s My Life – Queen of the Court. I haul it out for a re-read when I’m approaching daunting challenges to take myself to the next level.

The last meal that truly impressed me was... actually one of my own dishes! I didn’t know I could make a killer fillet like that!

My latest album download is... Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly. It is such a seminal moment in hip hop.

The thing I’m eyeing next is... my next piece of art.

The one thing you will always find in my fridge is... an emergency bottle of bubbly. In life, there is always something to celebrate!

The best gift I’ve given was... a protea-setting diamond ring my middle sister and I got for each of us on our eldest sister’s 40th (photographed). We each wear it on our right ring finger signifying our commitment to each other for life. It’s platinum because our father’s side of the family is from the platinum belt, Moruleng specifically, and some of our relatives still work in those mines. It’s a protea setting because we are fiercely patriotic. And diamonds because we shine ever more brilliantly when under immense pressure.

The best gift I received was... a white gold and diamond bracelet, a trip to
Paris to jointly surprise our dad from my eldest sister. And wireless Beats by Dre headphones and a monogrammed LV Never-full bag for books while I study my master’s, both from my middle sister.

A recent special find/discovery? I recently discovered Wagyu biltong. Thank me later!

The last item I added to my wardrobe was... an Ndebele blanket-cape by local designer Thabo Makhetha.

A place that inspires me... Lagos – a “get on with it” city, filled with highly energised, unapologetically ambitious self-starters. And New York. Manhattan is like a giant Grand Central terminal.
